OUR COMMUNITY #STAYSTIIIZY, Access to water is a basic human right. Water isn't easy to find around Skid Row, especially during COVID - temporary drinking fountains were removed by the city due to regulations and stores that typically provide free cups of water are closed. Driving past Skid Row daily, this was an issue we wanted to shine light on. California's current heat wave brings more people at risk to dehydration, heatstroke and other heat-related issues. These issues are especially problematic for those who are elderly or have pre-existing health conditions. STIIIZY partnered up with @drinkoxigen to deliver clean water to our neighboring community. Our team members distributed 400 bottles of water to the homeless and donated 384 bottles to the Midnight Mission Homeless Shelter. We will continue to work on helping our community and spreading positivity.
